Middelalderparken & Barcode
Place type: Jogging or walking route

Closest park, and real nice for just a short walk, or to run laps around the Middelalderparken. And on they way you also get to see the Barcode Area. Free entrance!

Tøyen Botanical Garden
Place type: Park

A different kind of park with a rich variety of flowers, trees and much more. Great to visit all seasons! Free entrance!

Place type: ferry rides & island hopping

Lots of boats that can take you to the small islands in Oslofjorden. Perhaps not the best time to go swimming there, but still a great way to see the fjord!

Sognsvann & Nordmarka
Place type: Hiking, walking or jogging route

Sognsvann offers a great entrance to the rich forrest life surrounding Oslo. It's only about a 20 minutes subway/train ride from Oslo. Feel like getting out of the city, this is the easiest way to experience some nature nearby Oslo!

Place type: Amusement park

You'll have to take a bus to get there, but a really fun park for all ages. Mostly considered a summer park, this way the ques aren't that long if you go there a bit outside of the peak season!
